General conditions of use of services on the Huesca-Barcelona line.


Recommendations to users to plan and carry out their journey with greater comfort and safety on our regular line services.
The contract of carriage is subject to the Code of Commerce, the Law of Land Transport Management, its Regulations and other rules and regulations of development. By purchasing a ticket, the passenger acknowledges and accepts the following conditions:

VEHICLE BOARDING: Boarding of the vehicle shall take place 10 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time of the service. The passenger will be able to access the vehicle after showing the ticket to the driver. In the event that the ticket/s purchased is/are entitled to any type of discount according to the clauses defined in these General Conditions, the passenger must prove his/her entitlement by means of an original document or certified copy, both when purchasing the ticket and at the time of travel.

SERVICES: The service shall be provided by at least one vehicle assigned to the concession. The Company may reinforce the provision of the service, in cases of traffic intensifications, with vehicles from collaborating transport companies, this possibility is not mandatory, and may be carried out depending on the existence of human and material resources available, whether their own or from other companies as collaborators. It is not compulsory for the backup vehicles to have the same characteristics as those of the incumbents.

LUGGAGE: The passenger is entitled to free transportation, in the coach's hold, of packages with a total combined weight of 40 kg of luggage.

The passenger has the right to transport, in the luggage tray of the coach, a maximum of 10kg in hand luggage with approximate dimensions of 56x45x25 cm; being the passenger the only responsible for the custody of hand luggage and belongings carried in the area intended for users.

Bicycles and scooters shall be considered as passengers' luggage and must be properly disassembled and packed to be transported, in order to avoid any damage to the other luggage of other users of the services and to the bicycle or scooter itself.

In case of damage, loss or breakdown of the luggage transported in the coach holds, the carrier's liability shall be limited to a maximum of 450€ per piece (Art. 23.2 Law 16/87).

TICKETS: Tickets may be purchased at the company's own points of sale, web, vending machines, collaborating travel agencies, telephone sales and in the vehicles themselves when there is no ticket office (subject to availability of seats and only for the service to be provided). Tickets purchased through the Internet and the telephone sales system are nominative, and the bearer must provide proof of ownership by means of ID card or passport to access the vehicle, whether he/she accesses directly with the locator number or sms, or if he/she requests the physical printing of the ticket at the point of sale. The rest of the tickets are bearer tickets, which can be used by the person who holds them (the custody of the previously acquired ticket corresponds solely to the user); the loss of the bearer ticket does not entitle the user to a refund, and it is mandatory to purchase a new ticket for the service on which the user intends to travel.

Travel tickets may be sold in advance up to one month in advance at the ticket offices of the stations with computerized point of sale and through www.avanzabus.com and up to 15 days in advance at the vending machines placed for this purpose. Request the appropriate discounts at the time of purchasing your ticket and keep proof of the discount at the disposal of any company employee who asks for it throughout the trip. Before leaving the ticket office, check that the data appearing on the ticket, date, time, origin and destination correspond to those requested, as well as that the change refund, if any, is correct.

The ticket shall only be valid for the date and time shown on the ticket. Failure to appear at the departure of the service implies the loss of the trip and does not entitle the passenger to a ticket exchange or refund.

Tickets purchased for promotions programmed by the carrier are subject to the particular conditions established for the programmed promotion regarding their sale, exchange and cancellation, which are reported in the corresponding section of the website www.avanzabus.com.


NON-HOLDER TRAVELER: In the event that the bearer is not the ticket holder, in order to travel, he/she must provide authorization from the holder in favor of the bearer, accompanied by a photocopy of his/her ID card or passport. The transport company reserves the right to admit the validity of the ticket as long as the holder of the ticket is not accredited.

CHECKING TICKET DATA: It is the customer's responsibility to check the ticket data at the time of purchase, that the printed data (route, date and time) match those requested. No claims will be accepted once the ticket has been withdrawn / paid for.

TICKET MODIFICATION: The customer has the right to change the ticket free of charge before the departure of the service and during the 60 minutes after the departure of the service, for one of the following services of the day as long as there are seats available.

CANCELLATIONS: The customer has the right to cancel the ticket up to the time of departure of the service at no cost.

BONUSES: Any traveler who may be entitled to a bonus on the ticket price, must prove their entitlement, by original document or certified copy, both when purchasing the ticket and at the time of travel. If such documentation is not provided, the ticket will be considered invalid and a new ticket must be purchased for travel.

NO SMOKING: Smoking is prohibited inside the vehicle (Laws 28/2005 and 42/2010).

LOST OBJECTS: Any perishable product left in the car after the service will be deposited in the corresponding garbage container and cannot be claimed by the client.

MINORS: In general, it is forbidden for minors to travel unaccompanied by an adult, unless the parents, or in their case the guardian, issue an authorization to the minor to be able to travel alone, the company having no responsibility for the same. Specifically: children under 10 years of age may not travel alone; children over 10 years of age and under 16 years of age may travel alone, but with authorization.

PETS: According to current legal regulations, no pet may enter the passenger compartment of a bus. They may only travel in the luggage compartment, in their corresponding transport cage. The only exception are guide dogs or assistance dogs for the blind and people with diabetic or epileptic disorders, which may travel with passengers. It is mandatory to carry the corresponding documentation of the dog because it may be required by the company staff.

SPECIAL LUGGAGE: Special luggage will always be subject to the capacity of the bus hold. The packages to be transported must be checked in according to the existing rates and must be conveniently packed so as not to spoil the luggage of other passengers.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The transport company will not be responsible for non-compliances that are not directly attributable to it, nor for those produced by a fortuitous event or force majeure, or for complying with legal or administrative requirements. Likewise, it shall not be liable for any loss of connection of its services with other transports, its own or others.

In case of loss or damage of the luggage transported, it will be essential to show the ticket and the check-in receipt if applicable. The carrier's liability for loss or damage to passengers' baggage is limited to a maximum of 450 € per piece (Art. 23.2 Law 16/87). In the event of loss or damage to baggage and orders checked in under the value declaration system, the carrier is obliged to pay compensation for the declared value, unless it proves that the actual value of the baggage and orders is lower. It shall not be obliged to pay any compensation when the event causing the damage is due to an act of God, force majeure, nature or defect of the luggage and orders themselves, or due to a cause attributable to the passenger or consignee. Liability for loss or damage to the goods or orders transported is limited to a maximum of 4.5 euros per kilogram. In case of delays in the delivery of goods, the liability cannot exceed the transport price. When checking in your orders or luggage, please ask about the possibility of establishing a declaration of value of the transported objects and/or maximum time of arrival of the goods at destination.
